8 weeks pregnant---- miscarriage or normal spotting?

When this happened to me at 8 weeks I was taken for 48 hours, they said there was nothing they could do to stop it, but just kept an eye on me. It happened again at 16 weeks admitted again, it stopped and I went on to have a perfect baby. With some women in the first trimester they have spotting in and around when your period would have been due. Normally there is no problem having when your pregnant however in my case because of bleeding it was a no-no. I had bed rest he had cold showers! hope your ok if it gets heavier ring the hospital, all the best x
