Instead of going to the hospital, I suggest you see a gynecologist. This is the kind of stuff they deal with on a daily basis. They are trained more in this than the people you will see at the hospital. They can answer all your questions. I have ovarian cysts and I've always been told they are painful and can affect fertility, but they aren't dangerous. There may be some situations where it is different, though. So go to a gynecologist and ask them everything you want to know. Don't leave if you still have questions. They should answer everything.
