What did he mean by doing this?

My boyfriend just told me I'm "not the one." I was so hurt and confused. Things were going really well. We liked each other so much, did everything together, and the chemistry was amazing. But the past 4 weeks he has been irratable and picking fights with me. It was horrible. An emotional roller coaster ride. And somehow, I was always the villain! So when he told me that, it all made sense. Clearly, he was trying to get me to break up with him. I got so pissed that I dumped on his doorstep all the beautiful romantic gifts he gave me when we first started dating then told him to lose her number. Then he did the same thing to me! When I got home, I found on my porch the gifts I bought for HIM! He must have raced over there as I left his house! Why did he do that? Was he telling me to get lost too???
