I Just had surgery and I want to know if anyone else had had...?

Ok so I just got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon, and I wanted to know if anyone else out there has had this happen to them, when I was 23 I had a hysterectomy but they left my ovaries but since then I have had 5 other surgeries because of mive amounts of scar tissue (what causes this) and to remove large cysts. Well on Friday they removed my right ovary and a tumor that was on it and while there were in there they also found a huge abcess and tons of scar tissue has anyone else had a hysterectomy and continued to have problems afterwards??? Not saying that your doctor isn't a good one, or that he/she doesn't know what they are talking about, but different doctors treat their patients different ways. If a laparoscopy was performed before, or numerous times, and the endo is still "coming back", then a hysterectomy might be the only answer. Definately do not settle for your first opinion just yet. (I've had friends/family members go as far as medically aborting a pregnancy because they refused to go for a second opinion.)

girlfriends 2001 accord has cylinder 1 and 4 misfiring. also alond with cyl 1 and 4 engine has code saying random cylinder misfiring. i changed sparkplugs, seemed to help a little bit, i changed oil only cz it was past due, and put fuel injector cleaner. i dont think the head gasket is bad cuz its not leaking coolant oand theres no smoke out of the exhaust. so a week ago the engine maintainence light came on, then when the engine started being rough and idling rough the check engine light started blinking....any imput? thanks also is this a BIG problem?

I am 37 weeks and two days along. All day today I have not been feeling well. My stomach has dropped to about 4 inches above my belly on and is soft and squishy unlike usual when it is hard. I usually have painful BH contractions but my stomach will every now and than completely harden for a bit and go back to squishy again. I also usually can't eat more then a few bites of food but all I want to do all day today is eat and sleep. I also feel pressure pushing down when I have to pee. Could this be early labor signs? Jw. It has the letter D 3 2 1 on the gear shift gage. The letter D does not have a circle around it like most of them do if it does have over drive on it. Here is the situation. I work at an engine company, in the finance department. I am one of two staff accountants. Donna, the other accountant, and I, report to John, the Controller, and he reports to Dave, the CFO. John is a nice guy but he is kind of a Caspar Milquetoast type person. How do i cope with my 2 sons fighting all the time?

I have 4 year old and a 2 year old and i have just given birth to a 3rd boy 7 weeks ago. My eldest two fight constantly. They swear at each other, kick, throw things, spit and have recently taken to poking each others eyes out too! No matter how I handle the situation, they don't listen to me. I have tried talking, shouting, punishing, sending to room, but nothing works. I get them to apologise to each other and they do but then they are at it again! I live in a tiny 1 bedroom flat and i don't know if that has anything to do with it. My husband and I try and take them out to the park, grandma's etc but it doesn't change anything. The only thing that works is having one of them go and stay with his grandma for a few days. I cant keep doing this forever. I am at my wits end, I cry all the time and feel that I cant cope, I just feel like i ought to cope, (there are women out there with 6 or 7 kids for God's sake) but i cant and that just makes me feel worse. I do everything for the I have tried everything to distract them, games, PC, Art playing in bath, but all they want to do is fight and bicker over everything. This is affecting my care for my newborn because I cant sit for 10 mins to feed for having to keep jumping and separating those 2!!! How do I deal with this?

They should beat Florida when they play them again at home. And they had 12 losses last year meaning, with admittedly something close to a miracle, they could still end up with a better or the same record. Just had 12 week ultrasound and they could not find the nasal bone.?

Technician had lots of trouble getting baby into a good position for photo. Doctor came in and only tried for a minute or so. All other markers were ok (neck skin, heart). I now have to wait more than a week for blood test results so they can give me a 1 in X prediction that my baby has down's syndrome. I asked if I could come back to have another ultrasound this week to try again to find the nasal bone but doctor said no. Should I go elsewhere to get one? Does anyone know how often they just miss the nasal bone and mistakenly increase your risk results? TIA

Any ideas on how to reduce a persistent fever?

I have a persistent fever that won't go down with medicine. I work nights so when I got off work Friday morning I felt chilly so I took my temperature, 101 degrees, I had a sore throat all night at work but didn't think anything of it. I took some ibuprofen and went to sleep. When I woke up the fever was gone and I was drenched with sweat, so I know it got to the breaking point. I didn't have a fever from when I woke up at five until about 9 30. It was 99.5 I took some tylenol this time and waited a few hours, took a cool bath and took it again about 1230, it was 100.8 again, I took some ibuprofen and checked it about 230 and it was 101 degrees. Any advice on what I should do without have to go to the doctor (last resort).

Alright i'm on my period now. I'm having awful cramps! Nothing is helping midol, tylenol, advil, heating pads, exercis, eating bananas. I need advice. I have a bad relationship with my mother, but a decent relationship with my father. I am from NY originally, but have lived in Florida for the last 2 years. Background- My parents were divorced when I was three years old. I live with my dad and I'm 14 now. My parents have joint custody, my dad and I live in NV. My mom got remarried in 2007 and moved to IL. My dad hasn't had a job for a while now and we're supposed to be moving in with my grandma, who lives in CA, at the end of the month. My mom doesn't want me to, and wants me to move in with her because she doesn't like my grandma. My mom said, "She's put me down since the day your dad and I got married, like I was never good enough for her." Like me moving in with my grandma, who's a very well off and respected woman, is going to change me into some condescending brat child or something.... Living with my dad, I've always had decent clothes, I've always been fed, and I've always had a roof over my head. I'm very happy with my dad and I don't even really know my mom, and wouldn't feel comfortable living with her and her husband. I told her that and she told me that if I didn't just agree to move in with her that "things would get really complicated, with like courts and judges and stuff." So my point is, my dad and my grandma are not bad people, and I will always be looked after in a nice neighborhood with nice people if I live with them, and it obviously won't be permanent. Little red bumps on since i was 10 should i worry about it?

Okay well to begin with at the age of ten I started to get these llittle bumps around the inside skin that covers the got these at the age of 10. They look ike little pimples with puss inside them but they are soo small, I've never messed around with them or nothing, they don't discharge get swollen or.nothing, they are "just there" These don't really bother, itch, irritate, nothing big. My wife has barely slept the last few days. What should I do?

OH do I ever know of your dilemma! My daughter has been an RN in the physic area of nursing for 23 yrs., have 2 more to go, & at times the whole family has been concerned about her own sanity. It IS VERY VERY draining being around mentally ill people on a daily basis. Some times she's been totally "off the wall" & we know she's stressed to the max. She just chged. her shift to 3-11, which has at least helped as some of the time they are eating dinner, then bed time. IF this is bothering your wife to this extent already, possibly she should get some meds. from her/your own family Dr. just to help calm her. This truly IS one very rough area of nursing tho & does take it's toll! See IF she'll get meds. for HER anxiety & it also w/help relax her to sleep better. Maybe too, a chg. in her shift may be of help too. My daughter's certainly has. I too have heard some of these "gruesome" stories & she's also been attacked a couple times. She's worked only in state & county facilities, so they are really some of the "rougher" cases. Get her to your Dr. for some medical help tho & see about a shift change...Best to you...:)

I hope people dont laugh at this but well I am not sure and advice before I go running to the doc would be appreciated (!) - I am attempting to potty train my 3 1/2 year old son (not an easy task !) and whilst he was sitting on the potty out shot cloudy cream like fluid into his pot, and that was it so I put him back in his pants and he then promptly wet himself (typical eh !) . but looking at what was in his pot it looked like semen but I dont know if its possible for boys of this age to have this leakage yet, can anyone advise, would really appreciate it. try new vegatables, your taste buds change every few weeks. I used to hate cubers, but now I like them. It looks like your having too much cow milk. Try soymilk instead. You can get the light. I would add a salad to your lunch at least. You could eat a salad every meal. Expirement with different dressings so you don't get bored. I would also add cereal to your breakfast. And maybe a snack in between lunch and dinner. You could have carrots with a dressing, salad, chips, a pickle, anything small. I have had the same problem w/my mom. I am emo too, and she doesn't really let me do the things I want to ( like cutting myself, and I'm not crazy ). Well. Im 18. and I can relate to your situation in a way. I dont agree with "older" people or parents who say that a 16 year old cant know what love is. Its just stupid that they could say that. but dont let that bother you. you know how you feel and thats all that matters. not being able to see her is going to be so hard. You are out of practice and have had setbacks, but you have had good solid training and obviously some ability otherwise you wouldn't have got into "Fame" school in the first place. You need to get yourelf back into the theatre scene. Start with a local theatre group for on-stage experience. Still haven't gone back to school, but now I have a homebuilding company that does several million dollars of business every year. Don't kick yourself, get to a doctor. You can research ADD and the various meds used to treat it on the net. Trust me, friend, this is real, and it's not your fault, and it's not something you can change by sheer force of will. A question for only the mormons.?

Before I start, I'll have you know I consider myself a devout mormon. In the past general conferences, the general authorities have brought up the subject that men and women are equal in all things. I believe they are equal in the eyes of God. But in marriage, God definately put one in greater authority. Scriptures in the new testament hint at this: 1 Corinthians 11:8+9, 1 Corinthians 14:34+35, and Ephesians 5:22+23+24. This last scripture compares Husband and Wife to Christ and the church which clearly puts one above the other in authority if not pretty much everything. Why then, does it seem like the church officials almost seem to accuse all the bretheren of unrighteous dominion over their wives? When they say that the wives are equal to the husbands in family decision and even all things, I believe this is something Paul would not have us believe. I believe this leads to insubordinate women and femenism in the church. Anybody think so?
