...maybe soon to be christian?

when i was younger i went to church with my neighbor. i eventually stopped going, because of other small comitments, and the fact that i wasn't too fond of my pastor (he said things that i severly don't agree with regarding 9/11). I have a very religious friend, who has been inviting me to her church and functions and whatnot. the other day at a christian youth group concert. i broke down crying, i think maybe god was opening my eyes, i have been feeling very alone but when i think of this i feel more attached. i'm afraid of how awkward it may be with my parents. they aren't anti-god but they don't go to church. please help me if you think you have advice.
