Itunes music folder??

i just downloaded itunes on my new comp. as soon as it was installed, it was converting some random songs WMA and i i realized those songs were in my music folder in my new computer. when i delete these songs, it said do you want it to go to the recycle bin or the itunes music folder?? whats the difference??
