Working parents, if you had to do it for your family, would you kiss azz?

I'm all for being helpful, but the bosses are entitled to no more than what I am igned to do. Regardless of my family's economic situation, I will not subject myself to such nonsense. How can I be efficient at my igned work if I am busy talking to the boss all day in order to earn brownie points? Don't lower yourself to your peers standards and keep up the good work in your job.
