"sit down, shut up and do as i say" as teaching method in education. What do you think about this method?

some students agree to this way of teaching method but mostly disagree with it..asian students mostly respect the teachers/lecturers when they are teaching by listening to what they are teaching without no question.(no interruption when they are teaching). But it is hard for student who has question regarding their study and need to wait until their teachers to finish teaching to ask for their question. However, for most european students, they tend to argue with the teachers in the middle of the cl about something that they don't agree or understand. Altough it is good, it is kinda rude to the teacher who was talking in front and disrupt other students who were focusing on what the teacher are saying...so, will you accept the method or not? why?
